Use hairspray to get rid of flying insects. Although hairspray will kill flying insects, it is safe for others in your home. A coating of hairspray leaves them unable to fly. This is ideal for a single bee that’s made its way into your home.

If you have mouse holes, put a piece of steel wool into the hole. The pests will attempt to eat the steel wool, and they will die as a result. Use spackle to plug the rodent holes.

When dealing with a pest problem, get your neighbors to help. Urban dwellers are sure to share pest issues with those around them. When your neighbors live particularly close, you can end up fighting a never ending battle with your pests. Your neighbors can help, if they are willing.
